Building Your Brand Workshop with YEGBOSSBABES & Glenda Decasa

Sometimes, when the day is said and done, Id watch my instagram stories over and over and wonder, “How is this my life?”

On Saturday, my friends over at YEGBOSSBABES and Glenny of Confessions of a Scorpio held the second part of the Blogger Babes Workshop Series: Building Your Brand.

Some of the topics were:

  • How to harness your brand beyond your logo

  • Representing your brand while still staying true to your values

  • Creating your perfect audience to effectively market your service/product/brand

  • The psychology of colours and fonts influencing your branding

  • How to create and implement your own Mood board

  • Effectively communicating your brand to your audience

  • How to incorporate your brand on all marketing platforms including social media

  • Building a brand that lasts with value and authenticity

And the attendees came home with a branding checklist and an e-workbook. YEGBOSSBABES really know how to do workshops! But then again, I never wondered. <3

Jocelyn of The Virtual Effect was also there. It was so nice to finally meet each other and know more about her! My friend Katrina brags about her alot and Ive always wanted to attend one of her Elevate events. I’m so inspired by her cause! If anyone needs event planning services, definitely go for her! I’m sure she would be the sweetest to work with!

The workshop was held at @rsvpdesigninc ‘s beautiful space. Honestly, I was worried how I would make the attendees’ headshots differ from each other but once I got there and was able to walk around, wow, every corner was unique! My favorite was the pink bathroom hahaha!

I can’t wait to share more photos I took of the attendees. They have all been so sweet and gave the warmest hugs!!

It was one of the most challenging experiences of my photography career thus far! I call it Brand Photography Marathon. I took photos of 9 ladies, from different industries with different styles and overall mood of the brand, and we had to come up with something that represents their brand, from the poses, to which spot of the building, to whether theyll do a half smile or a full on laugh and at some point, we rearranged furnitures and used every prop we could just to get the right feel. And we did that styled shoot in under fifteen minutes!

I was so full of adrenaline haha! I’m so glad the girls were so game with my crazy ideas and trusted me. How did we do a full on branding shoot and actually learn about each other in 15 minutes? I LUV IT. They were so much fun to chat with and I can tell just how passionate they are about what they do. I mean, it’s already given. They were at the workshop, INVESTING in themselves and in their businesses by learning about branding, which in my opinion (and my favorite business leaders’), is the most important thing to focus on.

I read a quote once that went along the lines of “there’s no business. there’s only people.” And I believe it to my core. I feel so blessed to be able to be surrounded by these people who are all about learning and growing. I’m proud to be part of a driven community.

There are so many days it doesnt make sense to me. There are so many days I have no idea what Im doing, or what this thing will lead me to. But that day, when I looked back to everything that has led me there, I just smiled and knew I was where Im supposed to be. And I’m so grateful.

And to Glenny, I can’t thank you enough. You’ve probably had enough of my mushy butt. Thank you for everything, most importantly for the friendship. I hope you change your mind about seeing that Filipino drama movie with me and Ana. You can DM me. No one will know I promise.

Soo, yea.

And as always,

nicole constante
